Weekly Temporary & Preliminary Notices to Mariners → ECDIS user charts — runs entirely in your browser, nothing is uploaded
Drop the weekly T&P PDF (or TXT, or paste). Each notice is shown with its country: those already in the ADMIRALTY Information Overlay (AIO) are marked Included in AIO and left out; the others are ticked to be drawn as a user chart.
Load the route exported from your ECDIS (RTZ, GPX, KML, CSV, XML — any file with positions) or paste its waypoints. Nothing is guessed: the positions it understood are listed below for you to check. Notices farther from the route than the distance you enter are unticked, not deleted; you can tick any of them back.
Drop the weekly Cancelled T&P list. Cancelled notices are taken out of the list below, and out of your last generated file if you load it here (so the updated file keeps the old notices that are still valid, drops the cancelled ones and adds the new ones).
Load the last user-chart file(s) you generated (Furuno .xml, JRC .csv or Kongsberg .nnt; if it was split into T&P 1, T&P 2 ... select them all). I show what is in it, what the cancelled list takes out and what the new notices add; then you generate the updated file. No previous file? Leave this empty and a new file is made.
Your files and notices stay in this browser. The working list is erased when you close the tab; nothing is kept on the device unless you press Save on this device.
Fixed for every ECDIS: text 63 characters (shortened keeping the important words) · circles 0.1 to 99.9 NM (bigger ones are drawn as an area of 36 points; on JRC and Kongsberg every circle is an area of 36 points) · at most 290 points in one file. If the notices need more, you are asked before the file is split.
Choose the ECDIS, then generate. If you loaded the last generated file(s), the new files are those updated (same ECDIS type).
These notices are more than one user chart can hold on the ECDIS (290 points per file).
Split makes two or more files (T&P 1, T&P 2 ...) you load one after the other. No lets you delete some less important notices first, then press Generate again.
