Weekly Temporary & Preliminary Notices to Mariners → ECDIS user charts — runs entirely in your browser, nothing is uploaded

1. Weekly T&P notices

Drop the weekly T&P PDF (or TXT, or paste). Each notice is shown with its country: those already in the ADMIRALTY Information Overlay (AIO) are marked Included in AIO and left out; the others are ticked to be drawn as a user chart.

PDF · TXT · paste
Route filter (optional): keep only the notices near your route

Load the route exported from your ECDIS (RTZ, GPX, KML, CSV, XML — any file with positions) or paste its waypoints. Nothing is guessed: the positions it understood are listed below for you to check. Notices farther from the route than the distance you enter are unticked, not deleted; you can tick any of them back.

2. Cancelled T&P

Drop the weekly Cancelled T&P list. Cancelled notices are taken out of the list below, and out of your last generated file if you load it here (so the updated file keeps the old notices that are still valid, drops the cancelled ones and adds the new ones).

PDF · TXT · paste

3. Last generated file

Load the last user-chart file(s) you generated (Furuno .xml, JRC .csv or Kongsberg .nnt; if it was split into T&P 1, T&P 2 ... select them all). I show what is in it, what the cancelled list takes out and what the new notices add; then you generate the updated file. No previous file? Leave this empty and a new file is made.

New notices to add (0)

Your files and notices stay in this browser. The working list is erased when you close the tab; nothing is kept on the device unless you press Save on this device.

No notices yet.

4. Generate User Chart

The ECDIS holds only so many points per user chart (every point of a line or area counts, a circle counts 1). When there are more, the result is split into T&P 1, T&P 2 ... Your own files showed it: 292 points were accepted, 620 refused; Furuno's manual says 300 for the FMD-3200/3300. 290 keeps a margin.

Circles outside the sizes above are changed (smaller: enlarged; bigger: drawn as an area slightly bigger than the circle). If you set a limit for one line or area, longer lines are cut into pieces that touch each other and longer areas are simplified (less than 90 m). Repeated points are always removed.

Circles smaller than this (for example a 30 m radius = 0.016 NM) are drawn at this radius, so they are never smaller than the real hazard.

Choose the ECDIS, then generate. If you loaded the last generated file(s), the new files are those updated (same ECDIS type).
